Are you a good candidate for Invisalign orthodontics?

For people who want to improve their smiles but don’t want to spend years with metal braces on their teeth, Invisalign could be the perfect solution. This clear, almost invisible, set of removable aligners can straighten their teeth and no one will know they’re wearing anything. But are you a good candidate for Invisalign? Here are a few things to consider:

What is your dental health?

Patients who are currently suffering from active gum disease or cavities will need to get that treated before they can start their Invisalign treatment. In some cases, when the orthodontic problems are far more severe than commonly seen, Invisalign wouldn’t be an effective type of treatment. Since Maduke Bulat are certified Invisalign providers, they know exactly what level of dental health is required to start treatment.

How responsible are you?

Invisalign treatment isn’t some magic cure that finishes after two months and doesn’t require any work on the part of the patient. Invisalign appliances must remain in your mouth at least 22 hours a day, only coming out when eating, drinking something other than water, and brushing and flossing. Are you ready to make this commitment to wearing the retainers day after day for the next year or more? It is an advantage to be able to take them out, but will you remember to put them back in?

If you believe you’re the right candidate for Invisalign, come and see us at Maduke Bulat Orthodontics for a free consultation and we can show you the best in Invisalign orthodontics treatment.
