The Case for Crooked Teeth

Crooked teeth are never a desired look for anyone. And as an adult, you might grow increasingly aware of your smile as you enter a professional workplace, or are looking for a mate.

It is never too late to correct your smile, and with Invisalign Braces it is easier than ever to create a beautiful smile, without having the ‘youthful appearance’ of traditional metal braces.

As your Delta Orthodontics Specialists, we take pride in helping teens and adults alike achieve a healthy smile, and our ‘orthodontic specialists’ title should not steer you away from inquiring about Invisalign because we are the specialists in moving teeth, whether it’s using invisalign or braces!

Many think that an Orthodontist only specializes in specialty braces, and refer to their local dentist for more traditional dentistry. But we understand that the needs of our community branch out beyond traditional braces, and also sometimes desire the lesser invasive, and more esthetic look of Invisalign, or Invisalign Teen.

We’re thrilled to offer this to our adult and teen patients who have concerns with their smile they wish to correct, and are always happy to consult with you on this option.

Invisalign-the Inner Workings

We start the process by deciding if you are a good candidate for Invisalign. Invisalign can address minor alignment concerns, and more complex ones are not out of the question either. So an initial consultation can uncover the direction we can take with your teeth.

From there we take radiographs, pictures and a 3-D scan of your teeth. We then begin planning your treatment (deleted the word plan), and can even show you an image of how you will look once your smile is complete!

Invisalign comes with multiple sets of aligners created specifically for you throughout this treatment plan. They are constructed of a smooth, comfortable BPA-free plastic that won’t irritate your cheeks and gums. You will be required to wear this daily, only removing them when you eat or brush and floss your teeth.

Roughly every two weeks your aligners are changed, and approximately every six weeks we have you come into the office for a checkup.

So if you have always wanted a picture straight smile, now is the time to come in for a free consultation to get you started on the road to picture perfect!
