What To Do In A Candy Crisis

On the heels of the holidays, the office of MadukeBulat encounters many dislodged braces from clients who indulged in the various hard, gummy, chewy or sticky candies that Christmas had to offer. Perhaps it was a caramel chocolate that caused the mishap, or maybe the unassuming candy cane that was the culprit. Whichever the guilty pleasure, an orthodontic emergency can be an inconvenient hassle for you, any time of the year.

However, being a patient at MadukeBulat means that you receive the timely service that is required for such emergencies. And we are committed to your dental health concerns as they arise throughout your treatment services with us.

We encourage you to call our office when you experience severe pain, or when you have a painful appliance problem that you cannot take care of yourself. We will be able to schedule an appointment to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. Keep in mind, that you may be able to temporarily solve many issues yourself, until your scheduled appointment.

When working with your appliances, it is best if you know the names of the parts so you are able to identify what part is broken or out of place. You can find a full description of our appliances in the [link url=]Patient Guide[/link] section of our website. That way, we can assist you over the phone to address the issue while you wait to see us to repair the problem.

Allowing your appliance to remain damaged for an extended period of time, may result in a disruption of your treatment plan.

If you have an orthodontic emergency after regular office hours, please give us a call and follow the emergency prompts to contact our team. We are here to help you every step of the way, which includes a candy crisis!
